After a lifetime on an emotional roller coaster from hell I was finally diagnosed as a manic depressive when I was 50 years old.  It has taken me 4 years to come to terms with the illness.  I am happy to share my experiences and help anyone suffering with this condition.

It is a totally misunderstood illness which a lot of people don't like to talk about because of the taboo around mental health

The UK has 4 million sufferers, so if you, like me, have the condition then we are not alone
