Many artists, photographers, writers and musicians are bipolar.

This poem is to the daughter of Bipolar sufferer Maureen: -

To My Angel

I cannot kiss your forehead before you go to sleep at night
But I am there with you in spirit, only not by sight;

I have a little treasure chest - Its colour is blue and grey
because it thinks that someone has thrown the key away

In this chest are many things - that all belong to you
Love and Happiness are some of them
I hope that you will open it - when your able to

I have a little pair of hands - Yours are nearly as big as mine
They can do many things - will keep you safe and stand the test of time

I can talk to Angels because they gave me you
I've been talking to them lately and they told me what I must do

They said that I have to always hold on to you tight
No mind what the child do - for one day she may get lost
but will remain true to you

When I caught you from heaven
on your decent they sent a little Cherub too
He fired his arrow just past your head and said
Always Love this Child - for she is one half of you

The Angels have promised me they will fly past your bedroom window
when your fast asleep at night
they will be sure not to wake you
So they don't give you a fright

I release the past and allow the joy to flow into my life.

My future only reflects my past if I allow it to. I now choose to move past
old limitations and negativity
